She has co-created and illustrated the dark-satire FINALS in 1999 and recently finished writing and illustrating a 192 page manga style book for DC COMICS called AT DEATH'S DOOR. In 1997, Jill's first children's book, THE SCARY GODMOTHER was released to critical acclaim and the film and tv rights were optioned in 1999 by Mainframe Entertainment.
“I had a number of ideas in mind for what my ‘dream web site’ would be. I wanted a web site that would reflect my artistic style and be a direct conduit between my fans and I. John Schwarberg and the rest of the IWS team jumped right in and helped me take my ‘dream’ and make it more than I ever expected,” said Thompson.
Integrated Web Solutions began working with Jill Thompson in the spring of 2004. Working with original artwork created by Jill specifically for her site, IWS built a great deal of interactivity into the site using DHTML, a blog so that Jill could communicate with her fan base, and built numerous galleries to showcase her past and upcoming artwork as well as artwork that she sells to the public.
"The new site is great, I love it. IWS put a lot of attention into the small details that I wanted " said Thompson. Jill Thompson’s web site has averages over 2,600 visitors per month from all over the globe.
